I began my own musical journey at the age of 8 when my parents were finally able to invest in an old second (or third or fourth)-hand piano and enrolled me in piano lessons.  I loved it! My parents soon saw how this would not be just a passing fancy for me, but a life-long interest and they upgraded the old piano.  After that they enjoyed (or endured) many hours of practice as I pursued my love of music.  And that love remains to this day.

I never get tired of trying to inspire the same love of music in my students.  We can easily turn on our devices and listen to all the music we want, but there's nothing like not only listening to the music, but actually being a part of it.
